Tomura Keiko has been working for NHK since 2001, at a time when she saw the world undergo rapid and drastic change following the September 11 attacks. She currently works for the world news division where she has been covering business and economic news. As the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics nears, she has also been reporting on the difficulties and hopes of Paralympic athletes who aim to participate in the games.
