Tamura Manami is a reporter with NHK's Social Affairs Division in Tokyo and covers a range of issues, with a focus on reforms to doctors' work practices, and community medicine. She was previously posted at the Niigata and Shizuoka bureaus. Tamura joined NHK in 2017.
