Yabuuchi Junya is currently based in Tokyo. He has been covering science, technology, and healthcare for nearly 20 years. Previously, he worked in New York reporting on NASA, cancer research, and the #MeToo movement among other topics. He also reported on atomic bomb survivors when he was in Nagasaki.
