Since joining NHK in 2008, Tomino Yohta has filmed a wide variety of news stories and documentaries. While stationed in New York as a correspondent from 2019-22, he covered the U.S. response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He also has extensive sports experience, including following the careers of MLB player Ohtani Shohei and NBA player Hachimura Rui. He currently works on the news desk in Tokyo.
