Azuchi Naoki is a Tokyo-based medical reporter and a qualified nurse. He joined NHK in 2011 and was previously stationed in Nagasaki and Hyogo, covering a wide range of topics including the US army, the 1945 atomic bombing and disaster prevention. In college, he was a pitcher on the baseball team and can still throw a fastball at 130 km/h.
