Ikegami Yuki joined NHK in 2010 and worked as a producer on the current affairs program Today's Close-Up in 2018. He is now on assignment at NHK's Fukushima bureau in northern Japan, one of the areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear accident.
