Emiko Lenart has been a producer at NHK NEWSLINE for 10 years. She started working for NHK Kobe as a reporter in 1996, covering the aftermath of the Great Hanshin Earthquake. Since then, her focus has been on portraying the way people and communities recover, physically and mentally, from wars and disasters. She has produced the NHK documentaries "My Small Steps from Hiroshima (2016)" and "Kimono Revolution (2018)".
