50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 liftoff

The US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, launched 50,000 mini rockets to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 liftoff. The 35-centimeter rockets flew 30 meters into the sky. Huntsville has a special connection to the space program: it's where scientists built the Saturn V launch vehicle that sent the Apollo crew on their way to the moon.
