Arakurayama Sengen Park in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is known for its striking pagoda and beautiful cherry blossoms. With Mt. Fuji as a backdrop, this is the perfect place to capture a peak-Japan moment with one’s phone. It is a big hit with foreign tourists and admission is restricted on some days during blossom season. On April 15th, there was a two-hour wait to get to the best spot for the trifecta of blooms, pagoda, and mountain.
