Cherry blossoms bring cheer to Kenrokuen Garden

Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is one of three famous gardens in Japan designated as especially scenic. It is open to the public free of charge for a week when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The Japanese garden was shaken by the Noto Peninsula earthquake on New Year's Day, with stone lanterns falling and walls collapsing, but most of the damage has already been repaired.
