Hirano Yuumi

Yuumi worked as a weather anchor for NHK's domestic news programs, including the flagship NEWS 7, before joining NHK WORLD-JAPAN. She's been a certified meteorologist since 2013. When she's not looking up at cloud formations, she enjoys down-to-earth activities like picking wild vegetables with her children.
