Yuko Fukushima

Yuko Fukushima has been reaching viewers of NHK’s international broadcasts since 1998. She’s anchored programs such as NHK NEWSLINE and Asia Biz Forecast. These days, she covers the business scene for NEWSROOM TOKYO, focusing on the Asian economies. Yuko’s reported from across the region, and she’s interviewed business and government leaders. Before turning to journalism, she worked with a derivatives marketing team at an investment bank.
