Shibuya Aki

Shibuya Aki comes to NEWSROOM TOKYO from her position as host of NHK WORLD-JAPAN's "TOKYO FASHION EXPRESS". She was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, grew up in New York, and graduated from Smith College with a bachelor's degree in both Political Science, and East Asian Studies. Back in Japan she has acted in a leading theater company, and for 11 years has hosted her own interview program on FM Yokohama. She presently teaches dance at an International School, where she emphasizes communication and expression.
