Australia's airports, businesses affected by global tech outage

A global network outage has affected airports, supermarkets and restaurants in Australia.

A fast food restaurant in the outskirts of Sydney was forced to close after its system for taking orders failed on Friday afternoon.

A cash register system went down at a supermarket. Customers waited in long lines at one point, but the situation is said to be improving.

Local media say disruptions have also hit bank ATMs.
