Woman injured in attack at Japanese school's bus stop in Suzhou, China, dies

Police in Suzhou, eastern China, say a Chinese woman who was a victim of a stabbing attack at a Japanese school's bus stop on Monday has died.

A man injured three people on Monday afternoon, after the bus carrying students from the school arrived at the bus stop in the city, which is located in Jiangsu Province. Those injured were a Japanese mother and her child, and the Chinese woman, who was a bus attendant.

The Chinese woman was in critical condition and was being treated at a hospital before she died.

Eyewitnesses say that she and others tried to stop the man from attacking the people.

The two other victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
