World Baseball Classic 2026 venues announced

Major League Baseball said venues for the sixth World Baseball Classic set for March 2026 will include Tokyo Dome.

The final for the international tournament is set to be played at loanDepot park in Miami, Florida, site of the previous championship game won by Japan in 2023.

On Thursday, MLB announced a total of four sites for first round games.

The first round venues are San Juan, Puerto Rico for Group A, where the WBC returns for the first time since 2013 and Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas for Group B, which will host the WBC for the first time.
Group C will play at Tokyo Dome and Group D will play at loanDepot park.
Quarterfinal and semifinal games will be played at US venues.

Japan beat the United States team in 2023 for its third WBC title and its first championship in three events. The US won the previous WBC held in 2017.
