Nikkei 225 sets another record intraday high

Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei Stock Average set an all-time high in trading on Friday for the second straight session.

This came after all three major indexes in New York closed at record highs for two days in a row.

The Nikkei 225 jumped soon after the opening and was up briefly more than 270 points from Thursday.

Investors are buying export-related shares on the back of a weaker yen.
