Kishida: No report of damage after North's launch

Japan's Prime Minister Kishida Fumio has said that at least one projectile flew over Okinawa Prefecture toward the Pacific Ocean, adding that a detailed analysis is ongoing.

Kishida spoke to reporters about an hour after the launch.

He said that no damage has been confirmed after North Korea's launch.

He also said that North Korea used ballistic missile technology in the launch.

He said he has instructed his staff to confirm safety, thoroughly gather information and strengthen collaboration with related countries.
