Tens of thousands of people in Pakistan have rallied to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. The demonstration comes as the Israeli military intensifies its offensive against Hamas in the enclave.
Supporters of Islamic political party Jamaat-e-Islami gathered in Pakistan's second-largest city of Lahore on Sunday.
They held banners with slogans opposing Israel and the United States, and backing the Palestinians.
The party has been organizing similar massive rallies across Pakistan since the conflict between Israel and Hamas began in early October.
A senior party official said the participants came out in solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza and sent a message that Palestine will be free.
The party accused the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation of not doing enough to protect the Palestinians. It called on the organization comprising 57 countries and regions to use its influence to stop Israeli attacks.
