US television has reported that nearly 70 percent of patients in intensive care units at Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip died when their medical oxygen ran out.
ABC News on Wednesday quoted a doctor at the hospital as saying that 43 of the 63 intensive care patients have died due to a lack of oxygen.
The doctor also told ABC that more people were dead inside and outside the hospital, and the mission of burying bodies is ongoing.
The largest hospital in the enclave has been in a critical condition amid Israel's continued military operation.
On Monday, health authorities in Gaza said 34 patients, including newborn babies, had died at Al-Shifa as fuel was running out.
The Israeli military said on Wednesday its forces had raided the hospital, claiming that the Palestinian Islamic group Hamas has a key base there.
