UNICEF says the powerful earthquake that struck Morocco last Friday has impacted at least 100,000 children.
The UN agency said the earthquake struck at night when most families and children were asleep. The agency estimates the quake affected more than 300,000 people in Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains area.
UNICEF said aftershocks are likely to continue in the days and weeks ahead.
The agency reported that thousands of homes were destroyed, exposing families and children to chilly temperatures at night.
