In men's soccer, Japan's national team beat Germany 4-1 in a friendly away match. It follows Japan's win over Germany at the World Cup last year in Qatar.
Japan, ranked 20th in the world, faced 15th-ranked Germany on Saturday.
Mitoma Kaoru, Ito Junya, and Ueda Ayase, who play in clubs in Europe, were among the starters.
Eleven minutes into the game, Ito scored the first goal on a cross from the right. The first half ended with Japan leading 2-1.
Close to the end of the second half, substitute Kubo Takefusa set up two more goals to finish the game at 4-1.
