Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted on Sunday about how he started the day by meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The two leaders met on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan.
Zelenskyy wrote that they discussed further cooperation in the security and defense sphere and the situation on the frontlines.
He also noted that they discussed the importance of implementing all 10 points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
Zelenskyy thanked Ottawa for its assistance in demining Ukrainian territories and for the prompt processing of Ukraine's requests.
