G7 leaders hold talks with Zelenskyy

The G7 leaders have kicked off their discussions on the final day of the summit in Hiroshima. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is participating in the talks.

The leaders have likely expressed their continued support for Ukraine and sanctions against Russia to Zelenskyy in person.

The G7 countries have already in their previous two-day talks condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The G7 heads of state along with Zelenskyy is also holding a session on peace and security with non-G7 leaders on Sunday. The focus is on how non-G7 leaders who have taken a neutral stance on Russia's invasion of Ukraine will respond in the direct presence of the Ukrainian leader.
