Foreign ministers from the Group of 20 nations are expected to discuss the war in Ukraine in the Indian capital New Delhi on Thursday.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and China's Foreign Minister Qin Gang are among those slated to take part in the second day of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting.
The participants are also expected to discuss the global surge in food and energy prices.
Multiple two-way meetings are scheduled on the sidelines of the gathering. Blinken says he has no plans to meet his Chinese counterpart. The Biden administration is urging China not to send arms to Russia.
Russia's foreign minister arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday and met his Indian and Turkish counterparts. Turkey has been acting as a mediator between Russia and Ukraine.
