Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud visited Ukraine on Sunday for talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy said that Ukrainians appreciate the visit -- the first by a Saudi Arabian foreign minister -- and consider it as important evidence of support for Ukraine.
The Saudi government said that the foreign minister expressed the kingdom's willingness to help resolve the political crisis between Ukraine and Russia.
Saudi Arabia and Russia have cooperated in coordinating oil output for the world, and they have maintained friendly relations since the invasion of Ukraine began.
Through the visit, the government is apparently trying to convince the world that it remains neutral over the invasion.
