Israeli settlers raid Palestinian village after 2 killed

Israeli settlers have attacked a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank, following the fatal shooting of two Israelis in the area.

Israelis living in the West Bank set fire to homes and vehicles in Hawara on Sunday.

The Palestinian health ministry says the attack killed one person and wounded more than 90 others.

Earlier in the day, two Israeli brothers were shot and killed while traveling in a vehicle.

Israeli media say a Palestinian gunman is believed to be responsible for the shooting, and Israeli security forces are searching for the attacker.

The two incidents came just after Israeli and Palestinian officials agreed in a meeting to de-escalate tensions following a rise in deadly violence between the two sides. The US also participated in the talks.
