Deputy head of Ukraine presidential office Tymoshenko resigns

Ukraine has announced the resignation of a deputy head of the presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

The office on Tuesday published a presidential decree accepting his resignation.

Tymoshenko had expressed on social media his intention to tender his resignation to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He had often posted updates on social media on the conflict in Ukraine.

The reason for his departure is unclear, but local media have been reporting scandals related to his personal use of expensive cars.
