US considers sending Bradley Fighting Vehicles to Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has revealed that his country is considering sending armored fighting vehicles to Ukraine to help Ukrainians take back territory from the Russians.

Biden was asked by reporters on Wednesday whether sending Bradley Fighting Vehicles is on the table. He answered, "Yes."

The M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle runs on caterpillar tracks and is equipped with an autocannon and other weapons. It can attack while transporting soldiers.

Ukraine's military intelligence head Kyrylo Budanov said in an interview with ABC News that Ukrainian forces are waiting for the vehicles.

Budanov said they are key for infantry units, and that is why they are necessary.
