The Ukrainian deputy defense minister says the country has received only 10 percent of the weapons it requested from Western countries.
Hanna Maliar made the remarks in an interview with local media on Tuesday. She said the situation is very tough for Ukraine and it cannot wait very long. She urged nations to accelerate the delivery of weapons.
She pointed out that the number of shells used by Russian troops per day is almost 10 times higher than those fired by Ukrainian forces.
Maliar said that no matter how hard Ukraine tries and no matter how professional its military is, it will not be able to win the war without the help of Western countries.
