A theme park in Osaka, western Japan, is displaying a Christmas tree for the first time in two years.
Universal Studios Japan did not put up a Christmas tree last year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
To prevent overcrowding, the decorations have been designed to shine more brightly so that visitors can enjoy viewing the tree in the daytime. The tree is lit up at night, but there are no nighttime shows.
The Christmas event will run through January 10.
The park has strict anti-infection measures in place. It requires visitors to wear face masks, and limits the number in line with a request from Osaka Prefecture.
