Taiwan to keep close eye on US-China exchanges

Taiwan's foreign ministry says it will keep a close eye on exchanges between the United States and China.

During an online news conference on Tuesday, ministry spokesperson Joanne Ou revealed that Taiwan was briefed by the United States beforehand on the US-China summit, and will also be given a post-summit briefing.

Ou noted the administration of President Joe Biden has repeatedly described US support for Taiwan as rock-solid. She added that Taiwan will strive to steadily promote cooperation with the US on a global scale.
