Paralympics-related infections top 200

Coronavirus infections among people involved in the Paralympic Games have topped 200.

Organizers of the Tokyo Paralympics say 22 people, including four foreign arrivals, tested positive on Saturday.

The four comprise three personnel linked to the event, while one was a contractor.

The other 18 are residents of Japan, comprising 13 contractors, two personnel linked to the event and three volunteers.

Officials say none of the 22 has been staying at the Athletes' Village.

Saturday's figure brings the number of cases linked to the Paralympics to 219.
