Biden rallies allies in Europe

US President Joe Biden has arrived at an air force base in England on his first trip abroad as President. He says Americans are ready to collaborate again with their allies. And he said he hopes like-minded nations will stand with them.

During his trip, Biden will meet with the heads of the world's most advanced economies at a summit of the Group of 7 nations. He will then hold meetings with leaders of NATO and the European Union.

Biden said that the United States is back and democracies around the world are standing together to tackle the toughest challenges and the issues that matter most to their future.

He said he will provide a coronavirus vaccination strategy to the world. He also wants to persuade allies to join him in efforts to contain China.

Biden will end his tour by meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He says he wants a "stable, predictable relationship" with Moscow.
