Suga receives second coronavirus vaccine shot

Japan's Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide received his second coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday ahead of his visit to the United States.

Suga was given the shot at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward, where he got his first dose on March 16.

The procedure was not disclosed to the media, but his aide says the prime minister was not experiencing any health problems.

Suga is scheduled to meet US President Joe Biden on April 16 and everyone in his delegation will receive their booster shots before the visit.
