A work by Vincent Van Gogh has been auctioned off in Paris for more than 13 million euros, or over 15 million dollars. The price is said to be the highest for one of his paintings in France.
"Street Scene in Montmartre" was painted by Van Gogh in 1887, one year after he moved to Paris.
The work depicts a windmill and people walking in front of it.
Van Gogh was influenced by impressionism after moving to France from the Netherlands, and began using bright colors. The work is said to have been painted during the period.
Auction house Sotheby's says the painting had been in the collection of a French family for more than 100 years and had never been displayed at art museums.
