A railway operator in Yokohama says one of its subway trains has derailed in the city near Tokyo. Police say there were no reports of injuries.
Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line says four of the train's six cars derailed shortly after 5:20 a.m. on Thursday.
Police say there were about 120 to 130 passengers onboard. They were evacuated.
The operator halted services on all lines before partially resuming them about an hour later.
Yokohama City officials say the operator temporarily laid additional rails on the track during the night to run a maintenance car.
They were not removed, and officials say the day's first train may have hit them.
