Onigiri with Skipjack Shavings
A simple but delicious combination of skipjack shavings, soy sauce and rice. Onigiri packed with umami until the very last bite!

Rice & Noodles

Ingredients (Makes 3 onigiri)
- 450 g cooked rice (hot)
- 20 g skipjack shavings
- Soy sauce
Mix the skipjack shavings with 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
Empty the rice into a bowl to allow the steam to escape. Rub a little soy sauce between both palms and make a triangular rice ball.
Using soy sauce instead of salt when forming the rice ball will flavor the rice with a hint of soy sauce.
Sprinkle with the seasoned skipjack shavings.
