Sushi Vinegar (Sushizu)

In order to make sushi rice, you use vinegar, sugar, and salt. The proportion of this combination is the key to sushi making!

Ingredients (Approx. 100 ml)

  • 100 ml rice vinegar
  • 100 ml sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt, and mix well until all solids are dissolved. Store in a clean food storage jar.

Tips

Keeps for about one month at room temperature.
