Ingredients (Makes 1 (22 cm in diameter))
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought/thin crust)
- 1/2 apple
- 1 tbsp gorgonzola cheese (20 g)
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 10 g butter
Preheat oven to 250°C.
Bake the pizza crust for 4-5 min, or until it browns slightly.
Cut 10 g of butter into small cubes. Wash the apple and remove the core, then slice it into thin wedges with the skin still on.
Place the pizza crust on a sheet of parchment paper, then place the apple slices on the crust in a radial pattern.
Texture is important for this dish, so make sure not to overlap the apple slices when placing them on the pizza crust. Don't worry if you have leftover apple slices once the pizza crust is finished — they'll make a nice snack!
Place the butter cubes along the edge of the pizza crust. Break the gorgonzola cheese into small pieces and sprinkle it across the entire surface of the pizza.
Pour the honey over the entire surface of the pizza and sprinkle the granulated sugar over top. Bake at 250°C for about 10 min, or until the surface has browned.
Cut and serve while still hot.
