Soy Sauce Marinated Yellowtail Sashimi on Rice
Piping hot rice topped with soy sauce marinated sashimi and fragrant sesame seeds. Incredibly delicious and so easy to make.

Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 400 g yellowtail (for sashimi)
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 200 ml white sesame seeds
- 600 g cooked rice (hot)
- A few scallions (chopped)
- A pinch of wasabi (grated)
Cut the yellowtail into bite-size pieces. Marinate in [A] for 40-60 minutes.
Coarsely grind the sesame seeds, preferably in a suribachi. Drain the yellowtail and coat with the sesame seeds and chopped scallions.
Divide the rice into individual serving bowls and top with the yellowtail. Garnish with wasabi.
