Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 200 g pork loin (sliced for pork ginger)
  • [Sauce]

    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
    • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • A pinch of dried red chili (chopped)
  • 1/2 head lettuce
  • 100 ml panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • A pinch of salt

Directions

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry panko to a golden brown.

Advice

This is crucial to making a crisp salad.

Cut the lettuce into 1 cm wide strips.

Combine the [sauce] ingredients in a bowl.

Cut the pork into 3 cm wide strips. Add a pinch of salt to a pot of boiling water and cook the pork. Drain thoroughly.

Plate up the lettuce and top with pork. Drizzle with [sauce] and sprinkle with panko.
