Chocolate Cake Bars

An easy, no-bake chocolate cake recipe. Just mix the chocolate and cookies, press it into the mold, and you're done!

Ingredients (Makes 2 batches)

  • 50 g dark chocolate bar (finely chopped)
  • 150 g graham crackers

    If unavailable, biscuit cookies that are not very sweet can be used as a substitute.

  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 50 g walnuts (roughly chopped) (net weight without shells)
  • 50 g raisins

    If firm, rehydrate in plenty of lukewarm water until softened, then drain.

  • 25 g butter
  • 35-40 g honey
  • 2 tbsp rum



Line the pans (13 cm x 6 cm x 5.5 cm) with parchment paper.



Place the graham crackers in a thick plastic bag and crush into fine pieces with a rolling pin.


Transfer the graham cracker crumbs to a heat-resistant bowl, then add the brown sugar and mix together thoroughly. Add the walnuts and raisins and mix in as well.


In a pot, melt the butter and mix in the honey. Heat over low heat until it begins to bubble, then add the chocolate and stir in until integrated.


Quickly pour the mixture from the pot into the bowl and mix together until evenly integrated. Add the rum and mix in.


Transfer the mixture equally into each of the prepared loaf pans, and press down firmly on each to mold to the pan. Let rest in the refrigerator to cool and set, then remove from the pans and cut into bars 1 cm wide.
