Apple and Amazake Hot Smoothie
A quick and easy hot smoothie recipe that pairs tangy apple and sweet amazake - simply sublime!

Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 1 apple (small) (200 g)
- 200 ml amazake (store-bought; straight)Note
*Made with rice and rice koji, not sakekasu (sake lees).
- 100 ml water
- 200 ml amazake (store-bought; straight)
Remove the stem and core from the unpeeled apple. Cut into bite-size pieces.
Put the apples and [A] in a mixer and process until smooth.
Pour into a heat-resistant container and microwave (600 W) for 1 min 30 sec-2 minutes.
