You can make cute egg balls using plastic wrap. It is a perfect recipe for bento!

Ingredients (Serving 1)

  • 1 egg
  • [A]

    • 1/2 tsp mirin
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of vegetable oil

Directions

Crack the egg into a bowl and add the ingredients listed in [A].

Preheat and oil a small frying pan, then pour in the egg mixture. Lightly mix using chopsticks to scramble.

Divide the egg in half and wrap each in plastic wrap while still warm. Shape and squeeze each wrapped egg into a ball. Let rest for a few minutes to cool somewhat.
