Egg in the Basket
It looks like a bird's nest in the middle of your toast! Try it for breakfast!

Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 1 slice white bread
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 eggNote
Use a pasteurized egg if you have any concerns about consuming raw eggs.
Place a cup upside down in the center of the slice of bread and press down to punch out a round hole. Heat the butter in a frying pan, then add the slice of bread.
Fry until the bottom is browned, then turn it over. Crack the egg into the hole and fry until the egg is cooked to your desired consistency. Fry the round cut-out piece of bread as well, and serve it to use as a scoop to pick up the egg.
