Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 8 pieces kara-age chicken (store-bought) (approx. 200 g)
  • 2 leaves lettuce (100 g)
  • 1 tomato (small) (120 g)
  • 20 g cheese for pizza
  • 300 g cooked rice (hot)

Directions

Tear the lettuce into easy-to-eat pieces and lay out on a dish. Cut the tomato lengthwise in half. Remove the stem and cut into 1 cm cubes.

Place the kara-age on a heat-resistant plate. Microwave (600W) uncovered for two minutes. Pat with a paper towel to remove the excess oil. Cut the pieces in half.

Advice

Space the kara-age out evenly on the plate to microwave. Pat with a paper towel while hot to remove the excess oil.

Place the pieces on the lettuce. Top with tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Serve rice on the side.
