Grilled Shiitake Mushrooms and Paprika Marinated in Ponzu Soy Sauce
Ponzu soy sauce can easily be made at home by mixing citrus fruit vinegar and soy sauce. Its tartness and aroma is perfect for marinating grilled vegetables!

Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 6 fresh shiitake mushrooms
- 1 paprika (red)
- 2 tbsp ponzu soy sauce
- 2 tbsp dashi
- A pinch of shichimi seven spice
Remove the stems from the shiitake and tear the caps in half. Cut the paprika lengthwise in half. Remove the stem and seeds, then cut across into 1 cm strips.
Grill the shiitake and paprika until brown, then marinate in [A].
