Tofu and Bacon Sauté

When you make a stir-fry with tofu, you need to parboil or press it under something heavy to take the excess water out, so it won't be watery after cooking.

Calorie count is per serving

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 block momendofu (300 g)
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Pepper, to taste

Break the tofu into pieces and place in boiling water, then strain. Cut the bacon into pieces 1 cm wide, and thinly slice the garlic.

In a frying pan, combine the olive oil, garlic, and bacon, then heat over medium heat and stir-fry, allowing the ingredients to cook slowly. When the bacon becomes crisp, add the tofu and stir-fry until browned. Add salt and pepper, then add the chopped parsley and mix in.

Serve on a serving dish, sprinkled with grated cheese.
