Domo returned to Japan Myanmar Pwe Taw! The rays of sunlight in Yangon were so bright!

Japan Myanmar Pwe Taw, a cultural exchange event between Japan and Myanmar, was held in Yangon once again. Despite record high temperatures of 36℃ under the blazing hot sun, there was a long line at the entrance as visitors waited until the event opened.

Mingalar par! Domo was at the NHK WORLD booth to greet everyone. This little girl seemed to be a bit nervous when meeting Domo for the first time.

At the NHK WORLD booth, visitors could write their favorite Kanji on paper shaped like cherry blossom petals. Because there were many different examples, even those unfamiliar with Japanese could participate comfortably.

In just one day, more than 500 people experienced writing Kanji. The cherry blossom tree at the booth was in full bloom.

The highlight of the evening came when DJ Domo appeared on stage to greet the people of Myanmar for the first time!

DJ Domo had a special collaboration with traditional dancers of Myanmar!

DJ Domo's grooves were a perfect match for the drums and dance, further heating up the venue!

After the performance, the dancers took a photo with Domo. Thank you to everyone who attended Japan Myanmar Pwe Taw 2018! We look forward to seeing you again next time!
